DESCRIPTION:
Titanium tube and titanium end caps married with heat-treated stainless steel baffle design. Utilizing a unique “outside of the box” baffle design which more efficiently channels additional heat from the gas blast to the proprietary titanium alloy tube in a masterful wicking effect. The proprietary baffle design and tube work synergistically to change the sound tone and more efficiently convert gas pressure energy to heat energy, creating the quietest silencer on the market, guaranteed. We own a military grade sound meter and have compared the Mack Brothers Varminter 3.0 to other .223 & .308 silencers available on the market. (Bruel & Kjoer 2209 Sound Testing Meter).
Accuracy enhancing due to no welding, all parts of The Titanium Varminter 3.0 are custom fit together to ensure no stress factors which are created by traditional welding of other higher mass production silencers. Tube started as a solid titanium bar and was then machined down to increase tube thickness beyond standard available tubing, again working to pull heat from the blast quicker. Baffle structure started with a solid titanium bar, each baffle is CNC machined from proprietary corrosion resistant titanium for limited lifetime warranty. This 100% titanium silencer is user serviceable; yes… it comes apart for cleaning.

This silencer design and conception began many years ago when the owner of South Dakota Silencer identified a void in the marketplace and worked closely with the Mack Brothers to create a silencer specifically for tactical target shooting, varmint hunting, and bench rest shooting at long distances where accuracy, sound reduction, recoil reduction, and weight on the end of the barrel were the most important factors. Utilizing Liberty’s Square Bore Technology, the Varminter 1.0 offered world-class suppression in excess of 31db at an affordable price. Being a traditional thread mount suppressor, the Varminter 1.0 was perfectly suited to the precision and long-range shooter, in that direct mounting offered far greater accuracy and consistency over quick attach/detach systems. The Varminter 1.0 combined a titanium outer tube with a stainless-steel core to provide a lightweight feel while adding an Inconel blast baffle for unparalleled durability. The Varminter 1.0 not only offered amazing suppression but also lighter weight than most other suppressors in the same class.
