What is the TBAC Sound Summit?
The Suppressor Sound Summit is an annual event put on by Thunder Beast Arms Company (TBAC). They pitted the top suppressor brands in a head-to-head comparison, measuring them using the same standards, conditions, and firearm platforms. This gives the industry a fair and legitimate idea of how the various suppressors compare.
The testing is done to compare products in controlled shooting environments, giving each suppressor a fair shake by testing each under the same conditions as the other products in its class. Every suppressor in the summit is tested in the exact same way, using the same firearm, ammunition and measurements. It’s fair, balanced and precise.
What the testing revealed is quite significant – BANISH is very quiet. We knew that already, but TBAC proved it.
The TBAC Sound Summit Results
Quietest .223/5.56 Suppressor
It’s called the BANISH 223, but when it comes to quieting the report from a .223/5.56 round, we may change the name to the BANISH #1. At TBAC, it took top honors in its caliber and its weight class, making the BANISH 223 the best option for your predator and varmint hunting rifles chambered in .223 Rem.
